Dr. Hannah Nazri is an Academic Clinical Fellow and specialty trainee doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (ObGyn) at the University of Warwirk. She graduated from Bristol Medical School in 2013 with an intercalated BSc in Medical Physics & Bioengineering from University College London, before pursuing her MSc in Clinical Embryology at the University of Oxford with two merit scholarships, one of which was a Yayasan DayaDiri scholarship. She recently completed her DPhil in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of Oxford prior to starting her NIHR (National Institute for Health & Care Research, UK) – funded post as a clinical academic.
As a finalist of the 2020 Women of the Future Award UK for the Commonwealth Category, she is committed to combining her obstetrics and gynaecology career with non-profit work not limited to youth education and women’s rights advocacy; as the Founding Director of the Malaysian Doctors for Women & Children and the Equality Lead for Europe for the Royal Commonwealth Society. She is also a Board member of the Boston Congress of Public Health, and columnist of its journal, HPHR (previously the Harvard Public Health Review).
Fun Fact: I enjoy learning languages (currently studying Russian), as well as painting and writing poetry (my first exhibition was in Paris in Oct 2021).
